OUR HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

TournaScore™ began in 2001 at a small club in southwest Missouri by the event manager trying to make his tournaments faster and more professional. After several years, visiting Golf Professionals saw TournaScore™ and, well - demanded - that they have a copy of TournaScore™ for their golf course.

At that time, TournaScore™ was not particularly user friendly. Regardless, other Pros insisted on obtaining TournaScore™ for their clubs. We committed to making TournaScore™ easier - then we made it available to those requesting Pros. Soon, we realized we were "on to something" great with our software.

SPEEDY EXPANSION

It was an easy decision to offer TournaScore™ to all golf courses. After all these years, what started out as one man's work has expanded way beyond and is the collaborative effort of PGA Golf Professionals all across the country.

COMPUTERS...EASY FOR US, BUT NOT FOR EVERYONE

Computers have always been easy for us. But we soon realized that wasn't the case for most other Pros. As we began working with more and more Pros - we understood how important that TournaScore™ is - first and foremost - easy to use. We have had older Pros well into their 70s master TournaScore™!

We have one flat fee for all of our services. We are not only the highest quality software in the world - we are also the most affordable. And, even at our low cost, we still have a plan where clubs can have TournaScore™ at no cost - or - you can even make hundreds or thousands of dollars for your club - just for using TournaScore™.

There are other software products out there that offer "free versions" of their software - but they are stripped down, featureless versions. We don't offer anything but full versions of our software - and - you can have it for free* - or make a lot of money using TournaScore™!

SPECIAL MESSAGE TO GOLF PROFESSIONALS

As all of you know, there's a movement going on to try to push clubs to "live scoring" - "cell phone scoring" etc.

Here's our take on it and we are trying to warn all Golf Professionals to what we believe is a dangerous precedent with this type of scoring.

First of all, let us ask you this. What golf organization is the greatest golf organization in the world?

Our answer is the PGA of America, the Professional Golfers' Association of America. No one does golf better!

Well, the day we turn the TV on and watch the greatest golfers in the world entering their scores on their phones - is the day we may take another look at our philosophy. When those players walk off the 18th green, they go straight to a tent or to a room where they sign their scorecard and hand it over to the tournament director - who enters the scores into a computer - then publishes the results for all the world to see.

We believe even amateur golf tournaments should follow the model of the greatest golf organization in the world!

While we have done a lot with our service to help you make more efficient use of your time - we believe a printed scorecard - signed and attested to by players and their opponents is a golf tradition that is too important to end - even in amateur golf. It is up to the Golf Professional to make sure their events are accurate and amateurs are HONEST – and the printed scorecard – signed and attested to - is the best way to see this through.

Several years ago, we were in a conversation with a club manager. He was not PGA - he was a club manager. He was telling me all about the software he uses. "It was pure genius," he said, "players can come to our course and run their own tournaments - and I don't even have to be there!" I asked him if he realized what he just said, and of course, he was oblivious. The conversation ended with me telling him that I hoped the GM at his course didn't look for ways to cut costs.

Why would you ever pay someone "who didn't even have to be there?!?"

We are here to help you look great! We are here to help you be more efficient with your time. The last thing we want is to see you lose your job to a cell phone or to AI! It shouldn't take a genius to understand that.
